Long-suffering /Patience

To everything there is a season,
And a time to every purpose under heaven...
Ecclesiastes 3:1

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run and not be weary,
and shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31

Beloved, do not think it strange
concerning the fiery trial which is to try you,
as though some strange thing happened to you;
but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings,
that when His glory is revealed
you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

1 Peter 4:12-13

...we glory in our tribulations also,
knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
and patience, experience; and experience, hope;
and hope maketh not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts
by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Romans 5:3-5

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord,
beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation
wherewith ye are called,
with all lowliness and meekness,
with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit
in the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:1-3

...the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work,
that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

James 1:3 & 4

...But my God shall supply all of your need
according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Phillipians 4:19

...Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation;
continuing instant in prayer.

Romans 12:12

...For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults,
ye shall take it patiently?  But if, when ye do well, and suffer for it,
ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.

1 Peter 2:20

...for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound;
everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full
and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Phillipians 4:11-13

...but the God of all grace
who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus,
after that ye have suffered awhile,
make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

1 Peter 5:10

In your patience possess ye your souls.
Luke 21:19
